Forever Blooms
I love plants, their vibrant colors and being surrounded with fragrant blooms that are attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. But... I don't have a green thumb, I overwater or underwater, plant in the wrong spot, it's too sunny, too dark, there's not enough drainage, it's too acidic... Well, if you're anything like me, you know the drill and the results... A few dozens of dollars and weeks later, my compost pile has grown...
But we have the solution: metal flowers! Sure they don't smell much but they bloom forever.
Why metal flowers?
They are sturdy, will last for years, you can plant and replant them in a matter of seconds and they won't die on you. They also won't grow, shrink or lose their shape, won't require pesticides, soil amending or watering and they're not made of plastic!!!
You can leave them bare, paint them, let them rust, sand them back to bare metal, re-paint them, clear coat them, etc...
Realistic Garden ?
Obviously, nothing beats nature and we're not even trying to compete. The great thing with metal flowers is that you can create an impossible garden with seasonal flowers that otherwise wouldn't mix or bloom together. You can paint them the color you like, even if it's not how it should be. You can create a garden of alien plants, with fairies, gnomes and mushroom houses or a field of multicolor tulips in the middle of your evergreens.
